Position: Software Engineering Documents

Type: Contract
Compensation: $80--$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

Source high-quality, human-made software engineering documents.
Review and provide feedback on PRD, architecture/RFC, API spec, design review, migration plan, incident postmortem, runbook/SOP, customer technical proposal, and release/change plan.
Ensure documents include features like diagrams, code/config snippets, decision tables, ownership/status tables, and RFC-style hierarchy.
Maintain authenticity with real-world professional work only; exclude synthetic documents and data.
Guarantee visual quality with polished typography, consistent margins, and clear hierarchy suitable for external, executive, legal, or investor use.
Ensure documents reflect substantial effort, plausibly representing 5-10 hours of work.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Ability to create and share original material with legal rights.
Ensure removal of all PII, confidential information, and sensitive material.
