We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for the department 54 -- Autonomous Driving, Vehicle Innovations:
Position Overview
Sachbearbeiter/ Sachbearbeiterin (w/m/d) im Themenfeld Kraftfahrzeugwesen (Full-time)
This is a full-time position in the upper service level, open to job sharing and part-time arrangements. Depending on qualifications, the role can be filled as a civil servant up to salary group A 12 or as an employee in pay group 10 TV-L.
Your Responsibilities:
As part of our highly motivated team, you will be responsible for the field of automotive engineering, including:
- Assessing fundamental legal questions regarding the approval and exemption of motor vehicles in accordance with the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) and the EU Vehicle Type Approval Regulation (EG-FGV).
- Contributing to the creation and further development of the legal framework for autonomous driving, including participation in working groups.
- Implementing national and European legal frameworks for vehicle type approval (technical and legal).
- Providing expert supervision for the government presidencies responsible for the automotive sector.
- Recognizing and supervising officially recognized workshops in the automotive trade (Kfz-Verband Baden-Württemberg).
- Providing expert evaluation of reports from monitoring institutions for road traffic.
- Participating in federal-state committees for automotive engineering and autonomous driving.
Your Profile:
- Qualifications: You possess a suitable qualification for the upper service level or have successfully completed a relevant university degree (Bachelor's or FH Diploma) in administration, law, vehicle technology, or mechanical engineering.
- Experience & Knowledge: Professional and administrative experience is advantageous. A strong interest in automotive engineering and familiarity with relevant legal norms are required.
- Teamwork: You enjoy working in a team and possess strong teamwork skills. Department 54 operates with self-managing teams across various task areas.
- Independent Work: You are organized and demonstrate a structured, independent work style.
- Communication Skills: You are communicative, have strong negotiation skills, and a confident demeanor.
- Conceptual Skills: You are creative and possess strong conceptual abilities.
