Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at a large Global IT Services Company. This is a permanent, home office-based role located in Germany. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in new business and net new logo sales within the Retail/Consumer Goods industries. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building relationships within key sectors, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales targets and overachieve financial and non-financial key business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain new business plans for assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within sectors such as Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, and corresponding ISVs.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the delivery of services and solutions that meet client needs.
  • Demonstrate success in selling services including Digital, Data, Cloud, Consulting, and Application Modernization.
  • Manage complex sales cycles and close deals in the $5 to $50 million range.
  • Consistently achieve quarterly and yearly quota targets in complex selling environments using a solution selling model.

Skills

  1. Demonstrable track record in new business/net new logo sales for a large Tier 1 or Tier 2 GSI.
  2. Experience working in the Retail or Consumer Goods industry.
  3. Proven ability to build relationships within Retail/Consumer Goods sectors and corresponding ISVs.
  4. Experience with a Global Services Firm offering onshore, nearshore, and offshore capabilities.
  5. Knowledge of selling Digital, Data, Cloud, Consulting, and Application Modernization services.
  6. Success in closing deals ranging from $5 to $50 million.
  7. Consistent achievement of sales quotas in complex selling environments.
  8. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Fluent in German and English.
