About the Role

At MOX Relations GmbH, an innovative startup from Hanover specializing in software solutions, we are looking for a (Technical) Editor / Specialist Journalist (m/f/d) for our remote team.

Responsibilities
- Creation and revision of texts (e.g., technical articles, guides, website texts, help center content, email sequences) in excellent German.
- Analyzing complex topics, structuring them clearly, and preparing them for the target audience – from the initial idea to the finished content.
- Development and maintenance of editorial guidelines, tonality, and style guides.
- Editorial planning: Topic generation, prioritization, creation, and maintenance of the editorial plan.
- Systematic execution of planned content, including coordination with product, marketing, and other stakeholders.
- Continuous optimization of content regarding readability, clarity, and user experience.
- Contributing to process improvement: How can we make information even more intuitive, faster, and more helpful for our users?
Qualifications
- Completed degree, e.g., in Journalism, Technical Editing, Communication Studies, German Studies, or a comparable course of study.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken – you have a secure command of grammar, style, and spelling and adapt your writing style to different target audiences and contexts.
- Strong ability to structure complex content clearly and present it comprehensibly.
- Systematic, reliable, and organized way of working – you enjoy working with editorial plans and clear processes.
- Enjoy finding creative solutions to create the best possible user experience.
- Experience with editorial planning, guidelines, and structured content workflows.
- Ideally, initial experience in technical editing or specialist journalism (e.g., complex software, HR, B2B).
- Confident use of common tools (e.g., Office 365, project management tools, CMS, Canva).
