Your Mission

As a Principal Technical Business Development Manager - Banking & Insurance (w/m/x), you will play a pivotal role in strategically expanding our business within defined customer segments of the Financial Services industry. You will leverage your strong network, industry expertise, and technological understanding to identify new opportunities, drive growth, and position NTT DATA as the preferred digitalization partner.

• Take responsibility for specific customer segments in the Financial Services sector and drive the expansion of business relationships.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new leads and opportunities, systematically increasing revenue, pipeline, and win rates in tenders.
• Actively promote NTT DATA's technological portfolio, including our offerings, services, and assets, to decision-makers up to C-level.
• Secure strategic projects to successfully integrate our onshore and shoring teams into new customer projects.
• Develop compelling value propositions and present them confidently to client executives.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery, Portfolio, and Presales teams to orchestrate innovative solutions that are technically, technologically, and commercially convincing.
• Act as a driver for new initiatives, utilize your growth mindset for business development, and convince stakeholders through clear positioning and communication.

Your Skillset

• Several years of experience in IT consulting or the IT services sector within the Financial Services industry.
• In-depth understanding of the challenges, structures, and processes of banks, insurance companies, or other financial service providers, with the ability to derive concrete potential from them.
• Ability to convincingly position complex topics such as Cloud, AI, Architecture, or Modernization with clients, leveraging your technological and business expertise.
• Excellent network within the Financial Services market, ideally up to C-level.
• Proven success in acquiring, developing, and managing projects at the intersection of business, IT, and strategy.
• Strong Business Development & Sales mindset, with a solution-oriented approach and clear customer focus.
• Growth mindset to proactively drive topics and think entrepreneurially, convincing both internally and externally.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills in German and English.
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
