- SRE Release Manager | The "Conceptual Right Hand" (m/f/d)
The Vision
We aren't looking for someone to just manage a calendar. We are looking for a Strategic Architect of Stability. As our SRE Release Manager , you will act as the technical and conceptual partner to our Lead Product Owner. You won't just "push" releases; you will define the How and Why of our entire release lifecycle. You will be the authority that defines architectural boundaries, sets governance standards, and ensures that "Speed" never compromises "Reliability."
Your Mission
- Architect the Concept: Design high-level governance frameworks and "Way of Working" standards for interdisciplinary teams.
- Establish SRE Guardrails: Implement SLOs, Error Budgets, and Toil Reduction to move our release culture from reactive to proactive.
- Technical Feasibility Partner: Act as the "bullshit detector." Evaluate automation strategies from dev teams to ensure they are high-value, not just high-complexity.
- Standardization Lead: Create the standard specifications in Confluence and Jira that provide a unified framework for all TVM (Technical Value Management) teams.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate high-level Product Goals into the technical reality of a robust CI/CD pipeline.
Who You Are
- The "Systems" Thinker: You see the big picture. You can document complex processes into actionable, elite-level standards.
- Technically Credible: You have a background in Software Engineering (Java/XML) , System Architecture , or as an RTE. You can hold your own in a deep-dive technical audit with developers.
- Governance Veteran: You've spent at least 4 years defining "Way of Working" in complex environments (SAFe, ASPICE, or similar).
- The Right Hand: You thrive as a strategic advisor, turning a Lead PO's vision into a documented, stable reality.
What's In It For You?
- Strategic Seat: You aren't a cog in the machine; you are the one designing the machine's release logic.
- SRE Certification: Not certified in SRE yet? No problem. We will provide the training and certification to bridge your release expertise into a modern Site Reliability framework.
- Flexible Hybrid Model: Work from anywhere in Germany, with just a few strategic alignment visits to our Hamburg hub per year.
