Calling All Tech Troubleshooters: Fuel the Next Wave of Workplace Wellbeing Software!
(Please Note: Due to rapid expansion, we are looking to fill this critical role TWICE)
Imagine having the unwavering stability of a 30-year tech pioneer, perfectly fused with the electrifying, fast-paced energy of a 6-year-old startup. That is exactly where our client sits.
We are partnering with a trailblazing developer of occupational health and safety software headquartered in Paderborn. They are on an ambitious mission to scale their revolutionary new platform, rapidly expanding their user base from 40 to 300 core clients. To make this happen, they need robust, tech-savvy communicators to ensure their systems run flawlessly and their customers remain delighted.
They aren't just looking for ticket-closers; they are looking for problem-solvers who want to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, flat-hierarchy environment.
The Mission: IT Support Specialist
Reporting directly to the CEO within a tight-knit department of six, you will be the absolute backbone of customer satisfaction and operational success.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Customer Championing: Serving as the first port of call for client enquiries, delivering top-tier support for the company's software suite.
- Incident Mastermind: Thoroughly documenting, testing, and resolving technical hiccups using the company's dedicated ticketing system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with brilliant internal teams to continuously refine product serviceability and elevate the user experience.
Your Arsenal: What You Bring to the Table
To thrive in this role, you don't need to know everything, but you do need to know how to figure anything out. You will need:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar IT support or helpdesk role, armed with practical, hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- The Tech Stack: Deep familiarity with Microsoft Windows OS and Office. You know your way around PC hardware, basic networking configurations, remote desktop tools (like TeamViewer), and ticketing software (like FreshDesk).
- The Language: Native-level German (C2) is strictly required. (English is a brilliant bonus, but not mandatory).
- The Cherry on Top: Any prior certifications in SCRUM or SQL will give you a fantastic edge, though they aren't dealbreakers.
The Vibe & The Perks: Why You'll Love It Here
This is a young, vibrant team (mostly mid-20s to early 40s) that champions a healthy, blame-free error culture. They don't want you crammed into a noisy open-plan floor; you will enjoy modern office spaces in Paderborn with a maximum of two people per room, alongside the flexibility to work from home.
The Rewards Package:
- Security & Rest: A permanent contract (following a standard 6-month probation) with 28 days of paid holiday.
- True Hybrid Agility: A 60/40 split. Spend 3 days collaborating in the Paderborn office and 2 days thriving in your home office (Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Paderborn).
- Commuter's Choice: A generous mobility allowance—choose between subsidised parking, an E-Bike, or a Deutsche Bahn travel pass.
- Work-Life Harmony: Highly flexible hours to support your family and personal life, plus flexible re-entry options after parental leave.
- The Extras: Subsidised lunches, continuous training programmes, bespoke hardware customisation (primarily Windows), and regular team-building activities.
