Your Responsibilities in Data Engineering

• Analysis of functional and technical requirements for architectures within our client projects and their business models.
• Development of data architectures for modern Data & Analytics platforms.
• Conception, implementation, and monitoring of Data & Analytics platforms and associated use cases.
• Development and implementation of infrastructure, security, and cloud concepts.
• Development and establishment of standards / best practices for scalable data architectures.

Your Profile

• Very good knowledge of relational database systems and query languages.
• Several years of professional experience in developing backend or data management processes, ideally within highly scalable environments (e.g., with Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory).
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies, architectures, and infrastructures (e.g., Spark, Python / dask, Apache Iceberg / Delta Lake, ADLS / S3, Kafka, Dremio & Databricks).
• Experience with at least one of the common cloud platforms or cloud-native architectures (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Good moderation and presentation skills, as well as a confident demeanor in client situations.
• Very good German and good English skills, plus enjoyment of communicating with clients.
