Job Opportunity

Redstone Commodity Search is working with an international steel trading house looking to hire a senior steel trader.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Develop and manage a personal portfolio of steel clients, leveraging existing relationships to generate new trading opportunities.
• Lead trading activities in your core steel product area, expanding business opportunities across global markets.
• Negotiate deals and manage end-to-end trades, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
• Role reports to Managing Director.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Proven track record in international steel trading, with an established client and supplier network.
• Strong product knowledge in at least one major steel category (flat, long, stainless, prime or non-prime).
• Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to manage deals from sourcing to delivery.
• Role is to be located across Germany, Switzerland or Italy.
