Requirements

Must have:

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in a FinTech or financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven working style with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Fluency in English. German language skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business analysis activities across the product lifecycle, from discovery and requirement gathering to solution design, implementation support, and acceptance testing.
  • Develop expertise in customer risk and fraud domain for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Consumer Finance products, and leverage this knowledge to contribute to business and product improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, subject matter experts, and engineering teams in an agile, cross-functional environment.
  • Analyze and evaluate the feasibility and impact of new features or system improvements.
  • Translate business needs into clear system requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Validate delivered functionality together with the team to ensure business logic and requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Maintain clear documentation for system functionality, interfaces, and platform services.
