Job Description

• Contract Management and Processing: You will handle the termination of surety insurance contracts and manage the subsequent processing. You will be responsible for the administration and support of contracts and booked guarantees.
• Insolvency Proceedings, Insolvency Plan Review, and Negotiation: You will contribute your expertise in insolvency proceedings for commercial clients, review and assess insolvency plans, and conduct negotiations with plan creators, always considering the legal and economic framework.
• Legal and Economic Consulting: You will support the team with your expertise in complex legal and business administration issues, particularly in insolvency law and Austrian surety insurance.
• Premium Calculation and Billing: You will calculate insurance premiums, handle their billing, and ensure correct booking.
• Recourse Processing and Securities: You will also be responsible for asserting and pursuing recourse claims from guarantee payments, as well as reviewing the scope of liability for securities and their realization.
• Communication and Interface Management: You will maintain regular written and verbal communication with clients, insolvency administrators, banks, intermediaries, and lawyers. You will actively involve internal interfaces to optimize processes.
• Process Optimization, Work Instructions, and Development: You will identify optimization potential, develop solutions to improve existing workflows and processes, and create process documentation. You will update work instructions and create technical concepts as needed, especially in the context of technical advancements.

Your Profile

• Qualification: You have completed a degree in business law, law, insurance management, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, you have completed further training as a legal specialist (m/w/d).
• Expertise: You have knowledge in insolvency, corporate, and commercial law.
• Professional Experience: Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in insolvency law, for example, in an insolvency law firm.
• Work Style: You work independently, proactively, and analytically, always keeping an eye on developments in your subject area, and you are a team player.
• Negotiation Skills: You convince in complex negotiation situations with your solution-oriented approach and your clear, binding communication. Thanks to your negotiation skills, you can confidently find common solutions even with differing interests.
