Through our work, we aim to set the course for a better future and self-determined lives for younger and future generations. The foundation develops its own programs in the Lörrach region and also actively supports social organizations in Germany and several European countries as a funding foundation. Get to know us: www.schoepflin-stiftung.de\n\nWe are looking for you as a Communications Editor (m/f/d) for Foundation Communications (50-80%) starting as soon as possible.\n\n## Responsibilities\n\n1. As the responsible editor, you will develop topic ideas and implement them in contributions for the communication channels of the Schöpflin Foundation and its units -- including press releases, contributions for publications, guest articles, flyers or brochures, the digital annual report, or the Schöpflin Foundation website.\n2. You will advise internal specialist departments and units on communication issues.\n3. You will independently coordinate contact with our external partners and service providers, as well as internal coordination processes.\n4. You will be responsible for 360-degree communication and coordinate the dissemination of our messages across all channels.\n5. You will place topics in the media and accompany articles until publication.\n6. You will advance our internal communication with the goal of networking colleagues in the various units even more strongly.\n\n## Requirements\n\n1. You have a completed scientific university degree (Master's or equivalent), ideally with a focus on journalism, as well as several years of professional experience in corporate communication, PR, or journalism.\n2. You have an understanding of integrated communication, storytelling, and positioning of an organization, as well as strategic thinking. You are characterized by strong conceptual skills and a feel for different target groups.\n3. You have experience in communication for non-profit organizations, NGOs, or foundations, or a strong interest in the philanthropic sector.\n4. You are interested in socio-political issues and personally identify with the content goals and values of the Schöpflin Foundation.\n5. Excellent German language skills are required. You also have very good English language skills, both written and spoken.\n6. You enjoy working in a team and are also capable of driving topics forward independently.\n7. You are characterized by creativity and strong communication skills.\n8. You work in a solution-oriented, service-conscious, and structured manner -- even when things get stressful.\n9. You find it easy to adapt to new requirements and enjoy keeping multiple balls in the air.\n10. You are based in the Südbaden region or willing to attend on-site appointments regularly.\n\n## Benefits\n\n1. Permanent employment with exciting and diverse tasks in a growing, dynamic foundation.\n2. Collegial collaboration with experienced, warm colleagues who strive for high professionalism.\n3. Extensive development and design opportunities as part of a motivated and dedicated team.\n4. Attractive remuneration and diverse further training opportunities.\n5. Flexible working hours with a flexible home office solution, self-determined work, and flat hierarchies.\n\n## Application Process\n\nIf you would like to help shape the successful work of the foundation in the future together with our experienced team, enjoy working independently, and setting new impulses, then we look forward to receiving your application (including cover letter, CV, certificates, salary expectations, and your earliest possible start date) via the application form.\n\nWe value diversity and welcome all applications -- regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation.\n\nAlexandra Schulz\nbewerbung@schoepflin-stiftung.de
