Job Description

We are now looking for a motivated and target-driven Recruiter to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle --- from sourcing and engaging top talent to closing offers and creating an exceptional candidate experience. As a trusted partner to our hiring managers, you'll help shape high-performing teams while driving Shopware's growth story.

This position can be based on-site, hybrid, or fully remote within Germany or in selected European countries where Shopware is registered.

These are your tasks:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process across diverse functions (Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.), ensuring smooth and timely hires.
  • Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively identify, engage, and inspire candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and professional networks.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for both current and future needs, reducing time-to-hire through proactive engagement.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a professional, transparent, and inspiring candidate journey that leaves every applicant with a positive impression of Shopware.
  • Interviewing & Selection: Conduct interviews and coordinate assessments with hiring managers, ensuring objective, fair, and high-quality hiring decisions.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, advise on hiring strategies, and share market insights.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up to date with recruiting trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring approaches to inform strategy.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance recruitment processes for greater efficiency, speed, and candidate quality.
  • Employer Branding: Represent Shopware at events, online, and career fairs to strengthen our employer brand and attract top talent.
  • Data & Reporting: Track recruitment metrics, monitor pipeline health, and share clear updates on progress and performance.

This is what you'll bring to the table:

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment including pipeline generation and active sourcing, preferably in the e-commerce industry and/or a start-up environment.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment, balancing multiple requisitions at once.
  • You have successfully recruited for roles with complex and unique requirements, and know how to match the right talent to the right opportunity.
  • You demonstrate a proactive approach to recruitment, consistently building pipelines and anticipating hiring needs ahead of demand.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • You are highly skilled in using Talent Acquisition Platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter to source, connect, and engage with top candidates.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); German is a strong plus.
