As a long-standing specialist and personnel supplier for the aerospace industry, in partnership with AIRBUS Defence and Space, SimpleXX GmbH is seeking a Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) for Mission Support at our Manching location, starting as soon as possible, through temporary employment with an option for permanent hire.

Your Responsibilities

• Undertake software development tasks across the entire project lifecycle (design, implementation, unit, and integration testing).
• Take responsibility for software and interface design, considering feasibility, maintainability, security, performance, and IT security.
• Ensure compliance with relevant software and aircraft development standards.
• Actively contribute to agile transformation and promote automation and continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration within the project team and with stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience in aerospace, development in object-oriented programming languages (in the aviation or defense sector), Multifunctional Information Distribution System, and threat/sensor analysis.
• Knowledge of source code management systems such as UML, OO design, and design patterns.
• High motivation for continuous development with new software technologies, teamwork skills, independent work, and a drive for high quality.
• Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.
• Tools: GIS systems or Military, Java.
