Freelance Gaming Recruiting Specialist – Direct Sourcing - Fully Remote

About the Role

SOFTGAMES is seeking an experienced Freelance Gaming Talent Sourcer to assist our People team with active candidate sourcing and direct outreach. This is a freelance, part-time (20 hours/week) role with a fixed contract (3-6 months), focused on identifying and engaging top talent, primarily within the gaming industry, ideally with experience in casual games. You will collaborate closely with our People & Culture team and recruiters, supporting ongoing hiring needs through hands-on sourcing rather than full-cycle recruiting. Qualified candidates will be expected to complete a skills assessment.

Your Role

• Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, portfolios, communities, and other relevant channels
• Conduct direct outreach and first-touch candidate engagement
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles
• Collaborate closely with the People team to understand role requirements and target profiles
• Track outreach activities and candidate responses in our ATS / shared tools
• Provide feedback on talent market insights and sourcing effectiveness

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter with a strong sourcing focus
• Solid background in the gaming industry, particularly in casual games
• Demonstrated success in direct outreach and passive candidate engagement
• Strong LinkedIn sourcing skills and familiarity with creative / tech gaming profiles
• Comfortable working independently in a freelance setup, while collaborating closely with an internal team
• Clear, professional, and respectful communication style
