Strategy Manager
Location:
Berlin (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join a small, high-impact strategy team working at the heart of the business. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, you will be part of the country coordination function, closely connected to senior leadership and involved across key initiatives shaping the future of the organisation.
You will work cross-functionally to define strategy, lead strategic programs, and drive performance across the business. The role spans both short-term operational steering and longer-term strategic planning, including identifying and developing new growth opportunities and innovation bets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a consulting or finance background who wants broad exposure, real ownership, and the chance to influence decision-making in a fast-paced, consumer-facing marketplace.
You will be based in the Berlin office three days per week, working closely with the wider strategy and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and lead strategic projects and programmes across areas such as Logistics, Loyalty, Pricing, Product Management, and overall growth strategy
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organisation to drive execution and ensure successful outcomes
- Monitor daily performance by reviewing core KPIs, identifying anomalies, growth opportunities, and implications for planning
- Build business cases and financial models to assess and prioritise growth opportunities
- Contribute to performance reporting, including Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Use data analysis to identify trends, insights, and near-term opportunities to improve business performance
- Collaborate with the broader strategy team to identify future bets and innovation opportunities, helping shape the long-term strategic agenda
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in management or strategy consulting, or in finance roles such as investment banking or private equity
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with an understanding of financial and operational KPIs in a consumer-facing marketplace
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and concisely; strong slide deck creation skills
- Solid foundations in data analysis and financial modelling, with the ability to synthesise large datasets into actionable insights
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, ideally with exposure to senior leadership
- Highly organised, with strong planning, prioritisation, and delivery capabilities
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage
What's on Offer
- Competitive compensation package with regular feedback and performance reviews
- Permanent contract with hybrid working model (3 days in the Berlin office, 2 days remote)
- Monthly commuting allowance and food delivery credit
- Employer-supported pension scheme
- Fitness and wellbeing benefits
- Extensive learning and development opportunities via internal and external platforms
- Diverse, inclusive, and international team environment
- Regular team events, social initiatives, and company-wide celebrations
- Sustainable workplace and bike-leasing programme
