Contract Manager -- Green Hydrogen / Electrolyser Projects

Working model: Hybrid

Start date: ASAP / negotiable

The role

The client is looking for a Contract Manager to support its growing project portfolio within the electrolysis technology sector from Dresden. This is a hybrid role focused on commercial contract management, claims, change orders and contractual support across complex industrial / energy projects.

You will work closely with project management, legal, procurement, finance and technical teams to ensure contracts are reviewed, negotiated, administered and executed in line with project and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and assess commercial project contracts, identifying risks, obligations and key contractual requirements
  • Support contract negotiations with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders
  • Advise project teams on contractual interpretation throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Manage change orders, contract amendments, addenda and variations
  • Prepare, defend and negotiate claims where required
  • Monitor project performance against contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables and payment terms
  • Support risk mitigation by identifying contractual deviations, disputes or commercial exposure early
  • Coordinate with legal, finance and procurement teams to ensure smooth contract execution and administration
  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of contract management tools, processes and templates

Your profile

  • Degree in business, engineering, commercial management, law or a related field
  • 5 years Experience in contract management and/or claims management within complex project environments
  • Background in one or more of the following sectors: ,Energy, Oil & gas, Chemicals, Hydrogen, Renewables
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, project delivery risks, variations and claims
  • Structured, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
  • Fluent German and English language skills are required
