About the Job

Employment type: Part-time / Project-based / Full-Time

Start: Flexible

Industry: Analog Space Missions · Space Tourism · Exploration Experiences · Community

About us and the role

Stellaris builds commercial analog astronaut missions and immersive space-exploration experiences around the world --- from Mars simulations in Brazil to extreme-environment expeditions. We're now preparing the next missions while gradually expanding toward permanent mission and training experiences as well as infrastructure projects in Europe.

We're looking for someone who helps keep missions, crews, and community aligned. This role sits at the intersection of mission operations, coordination, and community building. You'll help turn complex mission planning into a smooth, human experience for participants.

The working environment

You'll work directly with the founder and a small international network of collaborators.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate crew communication before and after missions
  • Support pre-mission training organization
  • Maintain mission timelines and documentation
  • Assist with mission logistics preparation
  • Help build and support the Stellaris community
  • Support participant and partner communication

You'll see how missions evolve from concept to execution and help build the operational backbone for future Stellaris missions and training environments.

This role fits you, if you

  • Have Strong organizational skills
  • Enjoy small mission-driven teams
  • Can execute calmly in dynamic environments
  • Have an Interest in space, exploration, or extreme environments
  • Speak Excellent English and have clear communication
  • Have the Ability to work independently in a small team
  • Want to build something early

You will directly support:

  • Commercial analog astronaut missions
  • Crew selection and onboarding processes
  • Community development around Stellaris
  • Future mission formats and expedition concepts

Experience in operations, coordination, aerospace projects, expeditions, or community work is a strong plus but not required.

What You Get

  • Direct involvement in real analog missions and extreme-environment expeditions
  • Hands-on experience in mission logistics, crew coordination, and operational systems
  • Close collaboration with the founder in a small, focused team
  • Meaningful influence over how mission structures, coordination workflows, and operational systems are built from the ground up
  • Visibility within a growing exploration brand operating in extreme and space-adjacent environments
  • Real responsibility from day one, not administrative filler work
  • A strong operational portfolio within exploration and expedition environments

This role begins with a 3--6 month build phase.

During this period:

  • You work closely with the founder to help establish operational structure.
  • Clear responsibilities and milestones will be defined.

After this phase, we evaluate together:

  • Transition into a paid role (if revenue allows),
  • Or defined long-term collaboration structure.

This role is currently unpaid during the build phase. As Stellaris scales, structured compensation models will be introduced for core contributors.
