Senior Software Engineer

Company Description

We're building a project intelligence platform that transforms meeting conversations into actionable insights. At its core is a knowledge graph that maps how projects evolve---tracking decisions, blockers, ownership, and health signals across every conversation your team has.

We're looking for a senior part-time full-stack developer who builds with AI, not just prompts it. You'll work on LLM pipelines that extract structured data from transcripts, a scalable backend system based on Nest and TypeScript, and dashboards that help project managers see what's actually happening across their portfolio.This is a small, fast-moving team. You'll have significant ownership over architecture decisions and the freedom to shape how we build.

What You'll Work On

• Knowledge graph infrastructure --- Design and build the data model that connects meetings, projects, participants, topics, and outcomes over time
• LLM extraction pipelines --- Develop prompts, evaluation frameworks, and processing workflows that turn messy transcripts into structured project intelligence
• Real-time collaboration --- Extend our Plate-based editor with multiplayer support, AI-assisted content generation, and public sharing
• Health scoring system --- Implement configurable metrics that assess project health from conversation signals (engagement, decision velocity, topic drift)
• API design --- Build clean, well-documented endpoints that power both our frontend and future integrations

What We're Looking For

Technical

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong TypeScript across the stack---NestJS (or similar Node frameworks) and React
• Experience designing systems that need to scale: data modeling, API architecture, async job processing
• Comfort with PostgreSQL and building data pipelines
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt engineering (we use Anthropic and OpenAI)

• You use AI tools strategically to accelerate your work---not as a crutch, but as a multiplier. You know when to reach for Claude or Copilot and when to think through a problem yourself.
• You can take a loosely defined problem, break it into concrete technical tasks, and ship incrementally
• You communicate clearly in English (essential for async/remote collaboration)
• You're comfortable working with ambiguity in a small team where priorities shift

Nice to Have

• Experience with knowledge graphs, entity resolution, or semantic data models
• Background in NLP or working with transcript/conversation data
• Previous work on collaborative editors (Slate, ProseMirror, Plate, Tiptap)
• Exposure to n8n, Temporal, or similar workflow orchestration tools
