What awaits you

• #Dealflow & Market Scouting: Reviewing incoming applications, identifying promising startups, and analyzing new trends in Wayra's focus areas.
• #Administrative Tasks: Preparing and tracking invoices, coordinating with accounting, and ensuring consistent processes and best practices.
• #Investment Analysis: Supporting the team with financial modeling, company valuations, and commercial due diligence for new investments and follow-on financing.
• #Investment Memos & IC Preparation: Contributing to clear, data-driven documents (memos, presentations) for the Investment Committee.
• #Portfolio Support: Assisting our portfolio companies with KPI tracking, fundraising preparation, and networking within Telefónica.
• #Ecosystem & Events: Representing Wayra at demo days, pitch events, and internal Telefónica events, and actively strengthening our presence in the VC community.

What you bring

• Current studies in #Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, #Economics, or a comparable field of study (enrolled, mandatory or voluntary internship).
• #Analytical Skills -- very good Excel skills and experience with financial figures and statements.
• Storytelling competence -- experience in creating clear and convincing #Presentations (PowerPoint / Google Slides).
• #Initiative & #Team Spirit -- independent, proactive way of working and enjoyment of collaboration in an international environment.
• Interest in #Startups & #Innovation -- you follow tech trends, know relevant VC players, and enjoy exchanging ideas with founders.
• Languages -- very good #English skills; German and/or Spanish are a plus, but not a requirement.
