The Supply Chain Management unit ensures that TenneT has everything needed for the implementation of projects and maintenance work – from needs assessment to procurement. Your Responsibilities
- As Senior Contract Manager Offshore (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the implementation of our EPC project contracts during the construction phase of our offshore projects. In close collaboration with colleagues, you will ensure the successful and contractually compliant implementation of our projects in large-scale offshore plant construction.
- You will be responsible for the development, management, and implementation of plant construction contracts (in the billions) in our major projects.
- Furthermore, you will ensure contractual legal support for the overall project management regarding our construction contracts and provide initial legal assessments on specific claims, schedule delays, and change orders from suppliers.
- You will ensure the consistent interpretation of contract clauses and handling of claims, and manage suppliers during the execution phase of the project.
- You will also independently conduct negotiations with our suppliers to resolve disputes during project execution.
- In this role, you will work in close collaboration, coordination, and regular exchange with other Contract Managers and the legal department.
Your Profile
- Legal Background: A university degree as a fully qualified lawyer / Diplom-Jurist / Business Lawyer (m/f/d) with a specialization in contract law, or an MBA with a focus on contract law, is the basis for your success.
- Contract Management Experience: You have many years of professional experience in contract management related to project business, preferably in plant construction and the offshore sector, as well as sound knowledge of construction and contract law and familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
- Supplier Collaboration: Your experience in evaluating and negotiating supplier claims, combined with assertiveness and negotiation skills, will convince us.
- Confident Personality: You can communicate with our interfaces across hierarchies and disciplines, impressing with a confident demeanor, quick comprehension, and a structured way of working.
- Language Skills: Fluent German for our contract drafting and very good English skills for collaboration with international contract partners are a given for you.
