- AI Solution Architect (Educational content author)
About the Role
Nebius is looking for a Middle AI Solution Architect to join our Nebius Academy team. Your primary mission will be to drive the adoption of our high-performance cloud infrastructure by creating educational content. You will focus on communicating the technical capabilities of Nebius products, including cloud infrastructure services and Token Factory (AI Studio), highlighting their differences and use cases.
This role uniquely blends the responsibilities of an AI Solution Architect and an Educational Content Author. It offers opportunities for skill development and growth as a Solution Architect and/or Developer Advocate, working alongside a talented team of Nebius AI Engineers and Solution Architects.
Educational Content Creation
- Develop technical content that demonstrates effective utilization of computing workloads with VMs, GPU clusters, Kubernetes, SLURM, Soperator, and more.
- Create sample code, tutorials, and reference architectures that showcase best practices for cloud computing and ML infrastructure.
- Produce video tutorials and conduct live coding sessions to illustrate the effective use of Nebius cloud infrastructure.
Supporting Academy Partners in Building Cloud Solutions
- Collaborate with academic partners (e.g., Stevens, MIT) to understand their specific requirements.
- Develop solution architectures aligned with partner needs, including designing and documenting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, documentation, and technical how-to guides in conjunction with the Nebius Solutions Architect Team.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to academic partners, offering technical expertise on GPU cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements
Technical Skills and Experience
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed computing principles.
- Experience with virtual machines, containerization, and managing compute resources.
- Proficiency in building with IaC solutions, with a preference for Terraform.
- Knowledge of GPU clusters and techniques for optimizing ML workloads.
- Working knowledge of container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and job schedulers like SLURM.
- Familiarity with infrastructure components such as networking, storage optimization, and resource management.
- Proven experience in optimizing the performance of diverse workloads in cloud environments.
- Strong programming skills, especially in Python, and familiarity with the PyTorch ecosystem.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and deployment patterns.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly in text.
Practical Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical field.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure.
- Previous work with infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and cloud environments.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with MLflow, Apache Airflow, or Kubeflow.
- Familiarity with cloud ML platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure ML, or NVIDIA NGC.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud or on-premise GPU infrastructure.
- Background working with technology partners and integrating third-party solutions.
- Public presentation skills.
