Consulting clients on the use and application of OpenShift (focus) and other orchestration tools.

Location: Nuremberg (100% home office)

Tasks

• As a Junior Kubernetes Consultant, you will support clients together with your team colleagues in the selection and application of orchestration tools. The focus is on showing customers (including software manufacturers) the advantages of operating software in the cloud and the measures necessary for this.
• The focus is on OpenShift and the underlying Kubernetes, but others can also be used, e.g. Docker Swarm, Apache Mesos.

Your Profile

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and other (based on it) tools such as Openshift or Docker Swarm etc., or comparable tools
• Experience in the DevOps area with orchestration tools in the enterprise environment and ideally also experience in software development; in setting up and operating modern container platforms with a deep understanding of automation, security, and scaling
• Knowledge of other tools such as Helm or Kustomize, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and GitOps, understanding of DevOps processes, experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins, ArgoCD, Octopus Deploy)
• Knowledge of Persistent Storage (ODF OpenShift Data Foundation) is desirable
• Good German and English skills
