Channel Partner Representative (m/f/d)
As our new Channel Partner Representative (m/f/d), you will be responsible for expanding our dealer network in Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland. You will win new trading partners and support them with all available resources in successfully placing our products and thus further expanding Kennametal's market presence.
Your Tasks
- Support of Kennametal dealers in the greater Stuttgart area as well as in Switzerland
- Building and expanding a dealer network and ensuring maximum market and customer coverage, penetration, and retention through indirect sales for our product portfolio
- Representing the company to sales partners and their end customers, as well as developing existing and new business relationships
- Planning and implementing sales promotion measures together with sales partners to achieve profitable sales and reach sales targets
- Active participation in information and training events as well as trade fairs
- Joint creation and coordination of sales plans with sales partners
- Active involvement in the introduction of new products and services as well as their market launch
- Continuous market and competitor observation
- Regular reporting on the economic situation, sales development, market and competitive situation in the sales territory, as well as on important requirements and measures for achieving goals and increasing sales
Our Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking trade with further training as a master craftsman or mechanical engineering technician, or a comparable qualification is desirable
- Proactive personality with a strong self-starter mentality
- Several years of relevant sales experience in the B2B sector
- Professional experience and sound knowledge in metal cutting
- Confident use of MS Office products and experience with CRM systems and MS Teams
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel, mainly for day trips
