Requirements

Must have:

• A completed degree in computer science or a comparable educational path.
• Very good German and English skills (C1 level) for clear and confident communication within the team and with our partners.
• Relevant practical experience in the described field of activity, familiarity with various technologies in the cloud-DevOps ecosystem, and their strategic application (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Gitlab).
• A commitment to high quality and practical development experience in software projects. Understanding of software architectures not only theoretically but also from an implementation perspective, with a keen sense for security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
• A belief in DevOps not just as a buzzword but as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous improvement – within projects and through collaboration, for example, by working in Communities of Practice and participating in conferences.
• Certifications for a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are advantageous.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients to design individual cloud architectures for high-quality and sustainable software solutions.
• Ensure appropriate automation and smooth, auditable deployments and rollouts in collaboration with developers and operators, utilizing IaC, configuration management tools, or reusable deployment patterns.
• Enable reliable, secure, and cost-effective operation of software solutions through observability tools, hardening measures, and cost and resource management.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in DevOps and cloud engineering, and promote advancement initiatives by sharing knowledge with teams and communities.
• Support technical sales with your expertise.
