Accountant Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Accountant Engineer based in Berlin, Germany, with the flexibility to work from home on select days. The Accountant Engineer will be responsible for managing financial records related to construction projects, tracking budgets, analyzing costs, and preparing financial reports. The role also involves collaborating with project managers to ensure financial compliance and efficiency and utilizing accounting software for accurate record-keeping and financial forecasts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Strong experience with accounting software and ERP systems specific to the construction industry.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, along with a capability for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while managing individual responsibilities independently.
• Prior experience in the construction or engineering sector is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; certification as a CPA or CFA is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
