At our Howden Turbo GmbH facility in Frankenthal, we develop, manufacture, and service turbo compressors and steam turbines. Our products are specialized for industrial applications and the process industry (petrochemicals and refineries, chemicals, metallurgy, and wastewater treatment), and are also ideally suited for regenerative power generation. With approximately 600 employees at our site, we operate globally as an innovative turbomachinery manufacturer and are committed to the responsible use of our planet's resources. For our Frankenthal location, we are seeking an HR Manager (m/f/d) for a fixed term of 2 years to cover parental leave.

Your New Role -- Challenging and Future-Oriented

  • Serve as a competent and trusted point of contact for managers and employees in the production area (mechanical manufacturing, assembly, test field) on all HR-related matters.
  • Provide comprehensive support and advice to employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Offer expert advice and support in organizational development and the individual development of employees, including reclassifications, internal transfers, performance reviews, and other individual and collective legal issues.
  • Manage recruitment processes and actively participate in all hiring decisions in close coordination with the responsible line and management staff.
  • Participate in works committee meetings and collaborate trustfully with the works council.

Your Qualifications -- Sound and Adequate

  • Successfully completed university degree with a focus on Human Resources, or a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with relevant HR further training.
  • Several years of professional experience in Human Resources, ideally in a manufacturing company.
  • Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the provisions of collective bargaining agreements in the metal and electrical industry.
  • Very good command of German (written and spoken), good command of English.
  • High degree of reliability, as well as a careful, structured, and quality-conscious work approach.
  • Strong discretion, integrity, and a sense of responsibility when handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong team orientation, and a high degree of service and solution orientation.
  • Independent, structured, and proactive work style.
  • Strong social skills and enjoyment of working with people.
