Aviation Finance Data Manager Role

We are seeking a data-savvy Aviation Finance Data Manager to own our financial data layer. You will collaborate with the Head of Product to structure datasets and develop economic models that power our digital twin. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on data work, structuring complexity, and growing into a key owner of aviation data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate real-world aviation observations into data model concepts, focusing on airline finance and costs.
  • Implement data models using Alteryx.
  • Integrate and validate new data models within the Skailark product.
  • Continuously improve existing models for enhanced accuracy and scope.
  • Manage the full data pipeline: source identification, data wrangling, cleaning, validation, and accuracy checks.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of complex aviation and finance interconnections.
  • Independent, with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to translate real-world aviation business and operational processes into structured data concepts and models.
  • Understanding of aviation financial data, operational costs, and accounting policies.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and manipulation.
  • Interest in finance and aviation; prior experience is a plus.
  • Basic Alteryx experience is a plus.
  • Must be based in Munich or willing to relocate, with a valid EU work permit.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
